On my plate today was…

- 40 mins of pilates (Winsor Pilates 20 min all body conditioning and 20 min butt and thigh workout)
- 400m swimming – I only successfully swam freestyle for about 80m lol and the rest were all doggie paddle =) I really need to learn how to swim properly!

Then I came back and did…

- 2 sets of prone drives (each leg)
- 2 sets of prone marches (each leg)
- 2 sets of upper stars (each leg)
- 2 sets of lower stars (each leg)
- 15 reps of hip hikes (each hip)
- 15 reps of leg lifts (each leg)

First day down! Only 104 days to go! haha =)

So, I think this may be the only week where I’ll be following the schedule I posted yesterday. The Boy and I will be starting P90X on Sunday. The Boy will be doing the Classic program, and I’ll be opting for the P90X Lean program (for developing leaner muscles).  It actually looks a lot more like the P90X Doubles program when I combine the workout schedule with my training schedule.

The Lean program looks like this:

Sunday: Rest/Stretch
Monday: Core Synergistics
Tuesday: Cardio X
Wednesday: Shoulders & Arms, Ab Ripper X
Thursday: Yoga X
Friday: Legs & Back, Ab Ripper X
Saturday: Kenpo X

But I’ll be modifying it so that I can better fit my running into it.

Sunday: Long Run, Core Synergistics
Monday: Cardio X
Tuesday: Speedwork, Shoulders & Arms, Ab Ripper X
Wednesday: Yoga X
Thursday: Tempo run, Legs & Back, Ab Ripper X
Friday: Kenpo X
Saturday: Rest/Stretch, 20 min swimming

I know, it’s A LOT.

And the workouts are… pretty insane. So, I’m keeping my fingers crossed that I’ll be able to keep up. I’m trying to stay focused on my goal… a decent bikini swimsuit body, oh and hopefully a half marathon PR in October =)

Next up… my diet plan!

I have some friends that are doing the P90X program and love it! Good luck with all the training!

Ok… I’m tired just reading about this. Kick ass, my friend!

Thanks, girls! =) Hopefully I’ll be able to stick with everything. After almost 6 months of lackluster training, I figure I should do something noteworthy for the year!

That’s awesome! I’ve seen those infomercials and my friend’s actually going to go through with it, as well. Best of luck! I know you can do it! ^_^
