I’m currently entered into the San Francisco Marathon’s February Challenge which called for runners to write about how they fell in love with running. I submitted the story I wrote for my “About the Girl” page =) and I’m 1 out of 20 other entries.
I’ve sadly had to drop a race (Ave of Giants) due to some exorbitant and unexpected car expenses, and winning a free race registration to the San Francisco half marathon would really help me out! It’s the last race I HAVE to do to complete the California Dreamin’ series. So, I’d truly appreciate your help! There are two ways you can vote:

Update: Thanks to everyone who voted for me! I am so super, super appreciative for your guys’ support. It really meant a lot to me =) It was a close race with #11 but unfortunately he won by only a handful of votes =(
When I had initially entered the contest, I didn’t know that it would be a voting type of thing. I thought that the winner would be chosen a panel that would pick the story they liked best. I didn’t find out until late this afternoon that it would be a voting contest. So I apologize for the late notice and I’m so grateful for everyone who scrambled to get their votes in.
